Chimuelo, el Tarro, El Chico Palo and Zafrada are the chosen ones to live a great adventure on the big screen
Chile is a beautiful country with different climates and landscapes and people are so diverse as the place where they live but one thing they all have in common: they love technology. That’s why people carry their phones since they open their eyes and love to take pictures and videos all day long.
Regarding this panorama, it’s easy to find Thousands of videos uploaded every day on Youtube and, from time to time, those small registers become viral and authors have their fifteen minutes of glory.
As the first worldwide video was starred by a Chilean kid (Renato Barrera, el Chimuelo), Media started to remember other viral emblematical children. When a picture of two of them turned viral two, Martin Rogers (the man behind the movie 0.34, Terremoto en Chile), decided to reunite 4 or 5 kids for a film.
The night Rogers thought about the idea, he couldn’t sleep. Early in the morning, he started to contact producers, journalists and a movie team was built in a couple of hours. Two days later, the team traveled to the kids home town to invited them to participate and talk with their parents for the legal stuff. Everything came out right and that same afternoon TVN gave the first pre-review of Inseparable Friends (cl)
Set in different Chilean towns, the story focuses on the sudden fame the kids live, because of viral reaction in social media and the consequences of it (both sides of the coin). Humor, values, bully, resilience and family life would be the main topics of the movie which will be filmed during May to be launched on September, ideally. Inseparable Friends (cl) was created by Martin Rogers, written by Mateo Iribarren and Sebastián Leyseca, and released by Rogers and as executive producers Juan Pablo Navarrete and Andrés Navarrete, both from Fiebre Media.
